Light is

Uses
4-Four Light Technologies to Grow --
Simulating the Sun's Rays

Lighting is everything when it comes to growing plants indoors. Plants get
their energy from light. But light is is much more complex than what meets the
eye. Light is in fact made up of numerous different colors, but we see it as
white most of the time. Plants need light in the range of blue for vegetating
and red for flowering; That's when your plants grows it's fruit.

Introduction to Horticultural Light

The All Powerful High
Pressure Sodium (HPS) Lamp
The problem is
that most modern light bulbs were made to light up rooms, and not grow plants.
They simply do not put out as full a light range as the sun. However, we include
a specially designed high pressure sodium bulb that has been enhanced
to put out a more complete red, orange, yellow and green spectrum. Great
flowering bulb...

As you can see in the above chart, these special enhanced HPS lamps put out a
far more complete light spectrum than a traditional high pressure sodium lamp.
This makes a huge difference in plant performance.

Vegetating With High Output;
Full Spectrum Fluorescents
The blue light for vegetating comes from two powerful high output compact
fluorescent light bulbs. Also designed to put out a fuller spectrum of blue and
purple -- mostly; but also create some red, yellow and green spectrum too.
Combined with a mostly red light (the HPS), and a mostly blue light (Dual
Floros), your plants now have a complete light spectrum, which accurately
simulates the sun's rays, and delivers massive plant growth! Combing light types
is the key to success when growing plants indoors, and we've got this nailed!

Filling in the
Gaps;
More Light Means More Fruit
Additional Lamp Types
| However, we're not finished yet. Light is so important that we added more; to
illuminate the undersides of your plants. When plants grow tall, and large, the
canopy absorbs the majority of the light. Light simply does not pass
sufficiently through the plant's canopy, to light the underside.
Vegetation at
lower level stops, and leaves and branches begin to die off. But, when we
introduce a specific light illuminating the under part of the plant, the growth
continues!

This means at harvest time not only can you harvest your bounty from
the thick canopy above, but there is also great picking from below as well...

Normally the fruits higher on the plant (that receive the most light) grow to
be the biggest. So, when harvesting pick from the top, and let the small
fellow's below hang out on the branches a bit longer. Now they are receiving
more light from the top, and the sides too. So, these additional smaller fruits
will be plump and ripe for another harvest soon. And, by the time they are
ready, there will be more fruits developing at the top of the plant (replacing
those picked) that will be ready for eating soon too!

The Advantages of
Multiple-Light Sources;
and Fruit Bearing Plants
Get the picture? Nearly, unlimited fruits and vegetables grown right at home
in your kitchen. No pesticides, dirt, soil, bugs, temperature problems, wind,
drought, snails, and
small plant eating animals. That includes your neighbors kid.

Speaking of fruit, this happens during the flowering phase of your plant's
life. You can learn more about the vegetative and flowering stages of your
plants in the propagation section. For now lets just say that you need both, and
we've got it covered.
You Control the Seasons w/
Light

The light controls the seasons, by going on and off at pre-determined times.
Essentially this is he same as the sun rising and falling across the horizon at
different times of year. So by selecting the appropriate light cycle, you can
control when your plants grow, and when they develop fruit. No more waiting for
the season or whether to be just right before planting; it's always that time of
year now! Harvest what you want when you want it with a Flore-Cube Rainforest.

Energy Efficient; Green Device

While on the topic of light, we'll mention one more thing. Our product is an
eco-friendly device. That means that it uses very little electricity, and
doesn't pollute. As a matter of fact, the plants actually create a small amount
of fresh air.

The bulbs and lighting systems where carefully selected to put
out huge amounts of light (measured in lumens), but use very little electricity
(measured by your wallet). Fluorescents are known to be very economical, and our
high pressure sodium bulbs aren't bad either. This product will likely only
increase your power bill very little, and the plants will simply love it. So
there you go, happy plants, and low power bills. Save a tree; grow one indoors!
